Valentina Mykhaylivna Yakubiv was born on June 6, 1981 in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In 1998, she graduated with honors from secondary school No. 22 in Ivano-Frankivsk.

During 1998-2003, she studied at Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University at the Faculty of Economics. In 2003, she received a specialist diploma with honors in the specialty “Accounting and Audit”.

In 2003, she entered postgraduate studies at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, majoring in 08.00.04 – economics and enterprise management (by types of economic activity), which she completed ahead of schedule in 2005 by successfully defending her PhD thesis.

From 2005 to 2015, she worked at the department of accounting and auditing of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University, making a teaching career from assistant to professor of the department.

The next scientific achievement was the defense of a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Strategy of balanced development of agricultural enterprises” in the specialty 08.00.04 – economics and management of enterprises (by types of economic activity) in 2011. At that time, Valentina Yakubiv was the youngest doctor of sciences in Prykarpattia.

During 2012-2014, she was a Scholar of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.

In 2015, she began her practical management activities as the head of the department on the basis of the newly created department of management and business administration. During his tenure, the department launched 3 specialties: “MBA – Master of Business Administration”; “Management of educational institutions” and “Public management and administration”.

In 2015, Valentina Yakubiv founded the School of Business and Management, where she acts as a business trainer at trainings in time management, personal effectiveness management, strategic management, personnel management, leadership and team building.

Since 2017, he has been working as a visiting professor at the University of Lodz (Republic of Poland), where he teaches in English at the Faculty of Management.

In 2018, she received the academic title of professor of the Department of Management and Business Administration.

Since 2019, she has been transferred to the position of vice-rector for scientific work of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University.

In 2021, she became a co-founder of the GCIP Regional Accelerator for Innovations, Technologies and Startups in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.

In October 2022, she was transferred to the position of the first vice-rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University.

Since 2022, he has been working as a visiting professor at the Stanislaw Staszyc Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow (Republic of Poland), where he teaches in Polish at the Faculty of Management.

The slogan for life is the words of A. Einstein: “Try not to achieve success, but to make your life meaningful.”

Awards, honors:

  1. In 2008, she received the award of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council “For significant achievements in the field of science and education”.
  2. In 2011, she received the Diploma of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University for conscientious work and training of highly qualified specialists.
  3. In 2013, she became the winner of the “Young Leader of Prykarpattia” competition in the “Best Young Scientist” nomination.
  4. Since 2013, he has been the head of the Public Organization “European Center for Innovative Development and Intellectual Partnership”.
  5. In 2014, she received the Thanks of the Snyatyn City Council for cooperation and assistance in solving the urgent problems of the development of the city of Snyatyn.
  6. In 2016, she was awarded a diploma from Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University for conscientious work and training of highly qualified specialists.
  7. In 2017, she received a grant from the President of Ukraine for young scientists and funding in the amount of UAH 90,000. for carrying out scientific research.
  8. In 2017, she received a Certificate of Honor from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration for conscientious work, high professionalism, and significant contribution to the development of education in Prykarpattia.
  9. In 2019 and 2020, she received thanks from the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and the State University “Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education” for the development and active implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies.
  10. In 2021, she received a certificate from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
